Connectors and Anchors

Connectors & Anchors Buckingham offers a wide variety of Anchors for permanent or temporary installation. All designed and tested for 5000 lbs. static load. User must insure that the structure these anchors are mounted from can support the 5000 lbs. required for fall protection. To retrofit a tower with a fall protection wire or rail system is costly.The new fall protection concept from Duke Power and Buckingham is to put suitable anchorage where you climb. The concept on existing towers is to add a flange to every third existing step bolt to provide a suitable anchorage. The Model No. 30 is shown to the right.   The Model No. 3058 (5/8" Thread) and the 3075 (3/4" Thread) Step Bolt with built in anchor is designed for new construction. When tower climbing using the above methods utilizing a dual shock lanyard will provide 100% fall protection. To climb a 100 ft. tower, this system takes three additional minutes. The Model No. 3902 is a Temporary Anchor that is 72" long. The small dee passes through the larger dee making a secure anchor. Used for tower positioning or other structure anchoring. Various lengths available, simply designate length as suffix i.e. 3902-4 (4 ft.) The Model No. 5004F is two-way rope grab with park brake. Design for fall protection for vertical climbing with a 5/8" rope. We also offer a wire rope grab for the same purpose. The Model No. 3809R is a Ratchet Boom Strap that provides a secure anchor on a bucket truck boom. Connectors The Model No. 50361 Buck Hook offer fall protection from ground to elevated heights and back to ground.
