Harness Beams

Harness Beam The answer to OSHA compliance when training (unqualified) wood pole climbers is obtained by using the Buckingham 5203 Harness Beam. The Model No. 5203 provides a 5400 lbs. anchor point per OSHA 29CFR 1910.269 requirements. The Harness Beam provides full 360° ball bearing rotation for traditional training. A 36" arm length (center of pole to arm end), permits the user to fall away from the pole during a fall. Adjustable to fit over a max. 9-1/2" diameter pole top and requires no pole drilling. Installation takes about 10 minutes to install on a 45' class 3 pole utilizing the center lifting eye. The unit weighs approximately 160 lbs. The 5203 used in conjunction with a quality retractable lifeline and harness limits the arresting force to less than 900 lbs.
