Retractable Lifelines

Retractable Lifeline Retractable Lifelines are ideal for persons susceptible to a slip or fall from elevated heights. Should the user fall, a centrifugal braking mechanism engages to limit the free fall to less than two feet. The simple rules of fall protection requires a suitable anchor, a connection device such as a retractable lifeline and a full body harness. Shock absorbers should always be used to protect the user and reduce the force applied to the anchor point. Buckingham recommends the 5201-50 for use with the Harness Beam pole climbing training aid, when used with a 45' class 3 pole.
